Submissions Guidelines
In order to better serve our readers and writers Burning Word uses online submissions. Instead of emailing us your writing and waiting months for a decision, all registered users may simply submit work directly into our automated system. Once logged in you will see the option "Create Content" in the menu beneath your name. Your work can then be cut-and-pasted into the form, previewed, and input into our database. You will be notified at a later date whether or not your work has been accepted for publication. Note: All works are subject to editing.

About Burning Word
Burning Word is a literary magazine and forum with an extensive collection of fantastic poetry and prose. This is the third version of the site, originally launched 01.01.01 @ 01:01:01 GMT. We encourage and accept submissions of finished work. Burning Word is run and funded by volunteers who appreciate thoughtful artistic expression.
Version 3: September, 2004
We've tried to add specific feature requests, address some bugs and further build on the refinements of the previous version. Work will continue as time permits. New features include spell-checking, inline images (for contributing authors) and many tiny improvements to existing modules.
Version 2: July, 2003
So what's new? The entire content management system is new. Features include an integrated search engine, built in comment support for each entry, an automated online submission system (no more emails -- no more waiting in line for a response), notification settings for site updates and comments, an open submission policy supported by community moderation and feedback, an XML syndication feed that allows all those cool kids to read BW on their cell phones and similar devices, and much more.
What's the same? We still have some of the best readers, writers and contributors from all corners of the globe. We hope you like the new site and decide to participate in the process.
more to come...
Why reactionary--Cauchy3
Why reactionary…
Angel angles are fuzzy.
Character morality captions get as mediocre.
That is cauchy3.
Flaws in I.D. are greedy well.
Keep to genuine get to some.
This is cauchy3.
Worlds in classes are power games as china was.
Prides and prices go so high as china were.
So why reactionary for little cauchy3 is.
All disposed as games to care about.
Cross examine are peoples powers.
Virtues come are vice will go.
Leads to peaces or leads to misery master tasks are dominatrix red.
P.L..A is red.
Doom on math is lady days.
Dooms on power get your fates.
Server/Bandwidth Fund
With the addition of several fantastic contributing writers, the popularity of Burning Word is increasing dramatically. With this new level of popularity comes higher server and bandwidth requirements to keep the site online. As many of you are already aware, we do not run advertising banners, charge subscriptions, or have an outside funding source.
Don't worry, we are here to stay as long as you'll have us. However, if you would like to show your support in the form of a yearly donation then who are we to object? Please select one of the donation amounts below by clicking on the associated button.

All money collected through donations will help to offset server and/or bandwidth costs associated with running the site -- that we promise. Your reward: A personal thank you letter and a good feeling, but not a tax deduction -- sorry. Because this is completely voluntary we will not list the names of those who contribute.
If you don't already have a PayPal account, you can help us even more by registering through the banner below. Not only will Burning Word receive an extra $5.00 credited to it's account, but so will you!
